Your challenge
In this position, your challenge is to further establish Vanderlande’s position as a market leader in a very competitive market. Be it in our Parcel segment or Fashion/eCom segment, you will be working for the world’s leading clients, helping them to further improve on their business.
Your job
As a Sales Manager you define a strategy to conduct and execute market development actions to create business opportunities and gain new projects. These actions are based on the segment strategy that you develop together with the sales team. You nurture leads, gather the relevant information on the technical aspects and the bidding process.Together with your sales colleagues and the market director you are responsible for making and executing the sales and marketing plan, understanding the customer’s business, processes and values, anticipating on this, and with the aim to prepare a spot-on proposition which exceeds customers’ expectations. You influence the decision-making processes and build and maintain strong senior management relationships with the relevant DMU’s of our existing and potential customers. As Sales Manager you lead the sales team during the complete sales cycle, from negotiating terms and conditions to a winning proposal, creating and selling value rather than price.
Your Department
The Customer Centre Warehousing and Parcel International (CC WP INT) is active throughout the world and provides support to other CC’s and branch offices within the Vanderlande organization. The Sales organization of WP INT is organized in 3 market segments: E-commerce / Fashion, Food and Parcel and has a European scope.
Vanderlande has an impressive and growing track record in these focus areas and has the ambition to extend its position further. To support the further growth, we are recruiting for two Sales Managers: one for our Parcel market and one for Fashion & eCom. You will be able to join strong and successful teams.
