Your challenge
Talent for talent! Our Talent Development department plays an important role as business partner, supporting the successful execution of the Vanderlande strategy and enabling Vanderlande employees at all levels to reach their full potential. Our team exists of two talent development managers (one of them is you) and a talent development assistant. You will report directly to the VP HRM.
Your key activities will be
- Overall responsibility for the organization, implementation and evaluation of Vanderlande’s national and international Talent Development programmes. These programmes focus on Leadership Development, Talent Development and personal effectiveness of Vanderlande employees worldwide;
- Taking ownership for the continuous improvement of our Talent Review, Succession Planning and Performance cycle, and you will stimulate and facilitate ongoing dialogues with our line management;
- Globally aligning all leadership and talent development initiatives, in order to ensure a high-standard implementation of our programme portfolio;
- Implementing and aligning the Vanderlande onboarding programme worldwide, together with our Vanderlande Academy;
- Regularly evaluating with external training partners to ensure high-standard and innovative development programmes;
- Coaching employees on their personal / career development and leading peer group counselling sessions;
- Provision and coordination of Insights Discovery training courses for Vanderlande teams.
Talent Development Manager Job Requirements
Your profile
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Psychology, Human Resource management or equivalent social or behavioral science;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building strong professional business partnerships with line managers at all levels, and with HR colleagues on an international level;
- Experience with learning and development in an international environment;
- Good listener, flexible, excellent people skills, good influencing and communication skills
- Assertive nature, experienced in project management, cultural awareness;
- Facilitation, coaching and training skills. Insights Discovery certification is a pre;
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
- You are flexible to travel when needed.
