Have you got the drive and entrepreneurship necessary to manage our international projects? Are you someone who develops project teams and third parties and encourages them to achieve the almost unattainable? If so, you're the ideal Junior Project Manager for us!
Your position
As Junior Project Manager, it's your job to set priorities and keep an eye on how every aspect of a project is progressing. You will have ultimate responsibility for the successful delivery of one or more Material Handling projects and form the link between the client, the team at Vanderlande and subcontractors. You will work in a team consisting of internal and external multidisciplinary specialists.
We expect an autonomous and client-oriented approach and the ability to manage projects worth between one and 20 million euro. You will coordinate projects with tight deadlines and work in and with different cultures. You will deliver realistic project plans and have the ability to implement them in a manner that guarantees the achievement of all of the relevant key factors: time, budget, quality and functionality. Finally, you will have commercial responsibility during the implementation phase of the various projects in which you are involved.
Your Department
The Airports business unit is the world market leader in the provision of total solutions designed to support and improve baggage handling at airports. Given the growth of our organization, we now need to recruit five Junior Project Managers.
We will provide each candidate with the internal training necessary for them to become fully-fledged professionals. This will involve completing a program in which you work towards the position of Senior Project Manager/Project Director.
