Program Management Analyst Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

• To project manage the product development team through the product development process, ensuring that the requirements for the project gateway events are delivered on time and with quality.
• Act as a central point of communication for the program team.
• Lead the team through program gateways and events on time and with integrity versus gateway commitments.
• Issue deliverables to program team; manage deliverables status and lead team to deliver gateway requirements and to achieve required deadlines.
• Facilitate / support / lead as required cost pack prep, releasing and other key work streams.
• Support functional team meetings i.e. PMTs, PATs and cross functional team meetings
• Analyse and manage program delivery requirements, key work streams and critical path processes.
• Facilitate / lead development of and timely completion of resolution plans by cross functional teams.
• Guide team through Product Development processes and lead / facilitate any process issue resolution as required.
• Implement lessons learned and best practice methods and processes to improve efficiency.
• Co-ordinate and manage preparation of program status and metrics to support team reviews and management reviews.
• Analyse program risks and opportunities and communicate appropriately to management.
• Enable and encourage management to make an informed decision by providing appropriate documentation.
• Develop & Maintain Vehicle Program Plan (VPP).
• Follow up on the development of team/individual work plans in support of program specific VPP's. Assist in the integration of these plans to provide a consolidated total program work plan.
• Continually champion the customer's viewpoint to deliver a quality product.
  
   

• Relevant degree in Engineering or Business required, or completed two thirds of formal study towards a degree course and commitment to complete studies
• Project management skills, preferably in the automotive sector
• Computer skills – Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
• Demonstrated strong leadership especially when dealing with x-functional teams.
• Proven ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to maintain team discipline and ensure delivery on time.
• Good technical and analytical skills to cut through the chase.
• Good oral and written communication skills with piers and senior management.

• Candidates must supply a copy of degree certification or evidence of current study of degree in progress.
• The project team is located both in the UK and Turkey; hence the position will involves some travel to Ismit, Turkey.
• No Turkish Language skills are required.
• Driving licence required.
