Our Industrial Chemicals business unit produces and markets salt and energy, chlor-alkali products and derivatives like monochloroacetic acid (MCA). It is Europe’s largest producer of vacuum salt and a leading supplier of chlorine, caustic lye, hydrochloric acid, metal salts, water treatment chemicals, dimethyl ether and MCA. These products are used in the chemical, detergent, construction, food, pulp and paper and plastic industries. Black Belts
You will be joining a multinational organization that is committed to your personal and professional development. This key position is based in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, although travel will be required. As a Black Belt in training you play a major role in Lean Six Sigma (L6S) deployment and leading improvement projects. It is a fulltime position in which you are responsible for leading a L6S project, delivering the value determined and managing your project team. Next to leading projects, you are coaching, training and mentoring Brown Belts. To be able to perform in this role you will receive a 5 weeks intensive L6S training. Next to the training a Master Black Belt will be coaching you during the process up until your certification.
To be successful in this position you have +/- 3 years of relevant working experience in an international environment. We are looking for candidates who at least have a Master level qualification. In addition to that you have demonstrated high performance levels in current and previous roles. On a personal level you are analytical, innovative, open minded and results oriented. Excellent understanding of English is crucial for this role since you will be working in an international environment. We anticipate that you should be mobile as the role requires some traveling. We have experienced that for this role it is an advantage if you meet one or more of the next criteria:
• Have a manufacturing or commercial background
• Gained some experience with project management
• Already encountered and worked with L6S
• Speak the Dutch language

L6S runs through all of the functions and business areas within Industrial Chemicals. You will have the chance to experience a broad range of projects. After successfully completing several projects and demonstrating your ability to deliver change, you will certify as a Black Belt.
The selection process involves a number of steps, one of which includes participation in an assessment center.
