HauzerTechno Coating is a fast growing, international high-tech organisation, with 150 employees and branches in Venlo, Yokohama and Shanghai. At our home base in Venlo, we develop and assemble plasma coating systems with vacuum, sputtering and arc vaporising technology, which then find their way around the globe, to customers with notable names. As a medium-sized company, where engineers can still enjoy their profession and cooperate in multi-disciplinary teams, we operate in a niche market and we are leading in technological developments. Hauzer was founded in 1983 and became part of the Japanese IHI Group in 2008. The IHI Group is a group of 188 companies totalling approximately 27,000 employees.
The challenge to reduce C02 emissions in especially the automotive industry, provides for a strong growth of Hauzer in the market of tribological coatings. To strengthen our position in this market we are seeking an all-round Sales Manager to support our tribological product team. The job of Sales Manager Tribo is a real world job. Challenging and dynamic. You will be travelling around the world, meeting interesting people and working independently. Technical expertise will be combined with social and commercial skills, because you will be representing Hauzer at our worldwide (potential) customers. But of course you will also be part of a team, receiving feedback and support. This world job will take you further.
What characterises this job?
As Sales Manager Tribo you will contribute to optimum sales of products and services offered by Hauzer, with special attention to the tribological / automotive market. To achieve this you will proactively (één woord) approach (potential) customers worldwide, translate their requests into Hauzer solutions, advise them, coordinate the sampling of their products at Hauzer, make quotations and coach them in their decision-making process. Exploring, analysing and approaching the market including new markets, will be a continuous activity for which good networking, promoting (e.g. conferences), forecasting, tracking of developments, monitoring competitors and updating your know-how is required. Relevant administrative work will also (partially) be your responsibility. Your direct colleagues are the Chief Customer Officer, two Product Managers and one Sales Manager. Operationally you will report to the Product Manager Tribo, hierarchal to the CCO.
