IntroductionWould you like to be part of progress?Job MissionThe CRE F&M Program & Contracts is expected to manage, coach, and develop a team of Senior Program Managers and Contract Managers that together are responsible for managing an outstanding continuous quality and/or improvement of quality in adherence to changing business needs and objectives of F&M. The team has two major responsibilities: managing the CAPEX budget and required changes in order to meet current and future performance criteria (strategic planning process); and managing the services provided by suppliers. The F&M Program & Contract management team ensures the continuous maintenance and improvement of asset management and service delivery in Veldhoven and (partially) global, requested by the customer. The team manages a (complex) set of strategic partners and suppliers and acts based on proactive vs. reactive initiation of improvement measures.
You and the team contribute to the ASML objectives by ensuring uptime of assets and buildings and delivering outstanding services that appeal to and support in the attraction of talent. In addition, you manage a team of highly educated professionals and a complex portfolio with an extensive and great diversity of products/services in FM and maintenance management.Job DescriptionThe CRE F&M Program and Contracts team acts at the heart of the demand/supply chain for the facility management and maintenance services of ASML. Their assignment is to maintain a consistent set of physical assets through its complete lifecycle to support the production process of ASML in an optimal manner. In addition, the team is responsible for managing all buildings, grounds and services with the aim to contribute to an appealing, attractive and comfortable working environment for ASML employees and visitors. You are responsible on the one hand, to make sure that Program managers are in the lead to translate all the changes in a sensible priority planning, business cases and budget plan. On the other hand, you make sure that Contract managers procure essential resources in a smart, sensible manner, resulting in strong partnerships, contractual relations and excellent performance of suppliers. You act from the strategic pillars and make sure that the needs for the future are translated into short and long term plans for the hard services domain (asset and building maintenance) and the soft services domain.
To run the daily business, the F&M Program & Contracts team manages the (key) suppliers that are responsible for a range of the operational and tactical activities of the hard services (asset and building maintenance) and soft services of F&M. CRE F&M acts as (strategic) demand organization towards the expertise parties by translating business needs in (output)specifications and to ensure that delivered solutions are in compliance with specifications, performance targets and ASML conditions. In this process, the team works closely with the competence center where specialist experts are responsible for the performance and target setting of (critical) assets or services and the (long term) capacity and specifications for assets. Together with the Contract managers you are responsible to manage the relationship with the (key) suppliers and monitor and manage performance of suppliers, based on a set of strategic, tactical and operational KPI’s. In addition, you and the team drive innovations and opportunities that arise from (strategic) partnerships and continuously set the right goals and targets for and/or with these partners in order to bring performance to the next level.
Together with the Program managers you drive changes in the portfolio in order to innovate products or services, meet (changing) performance criteria, manage replacements from MJOP or comply to business request. All of this with the aim to ensure that KPI’s set for Facilities & Maintenance are met. This requires generating new solutions and maintenance/service strategy and implementing change until embedment in the daily maintenance organization is assured.
In general, you act as the manager and representative for F&M Program & Contract management and are the delegated budget holder with mandate to act towards (key) suppliers and investment plans. You do this in close collaboration with the Manager Competence Center and the Director Facilities & Maintenance. Together you form the Management Team that sets the vision and drive the strategic plan, for example on resources, sourcing, development plan etc. You contribute to the strategic planning and reporting processes and maintain relations with stakeholders, such as colleague managers within CRE (for example Manager Business Partner and Manager Projects), local F&M Directors and the Director CRE.
As Management Team you have a global responsibility for the Facilities & Maintenance activities worldwide (matrix organization) and you determine the global goals and resources in order to support and drive performance at other sites.
