Provide high quality support for 3-4 contract attorneys in the License & Contract (L&C) group of the CIP department.
Job Description
You will be part of the Support and Administration (S&A) group which consists of 15 persons and report to the manager S&A. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the L&C group and individual attorneys (schedule meetings, create agenda and make minutes, action list maintenance and participate in various legal matters and projects)
- Coordinate with and periodically report to Contract Manager on the tasks assigned to you
- Assist in preparation of contract summaries and presentations and communicate about signed contracts
- Participate in the identification and/or implementation of contract related process improvements
- Manage and maintain the contracts administration process and interact with other departments as necessary to locate executed contracts (e.g. Legal department and Procurement)
- Organize contracts in the IP Management System (storage and retrieval of contracts, monitor contract obligations and alerts)
- Participate in effective stakeholder management (e.g. CIP staff, Legal department, Procurement and HR&O)

Within ASML, the Corporate Intellectual Property (CIP) department is responsible for maximizing ASML's global intellectual property position to protect and support ASML's business.
In particular, the CIP department strives to preserve freedom to operate for ASML and to establish and maintain a portfolio of patent rights.At the CIP department, about 60 people work in four locations (Veldhoven in the Netherlands and Wilton, San Diego and Silicon Valley in the USA) to accomplish the above-stated mission.

You have at least a Bachelor degree (HBO) in law
Experience
- 6+ years working experience preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department, knowledge in the field of Intellectual Property is preferred.
- Affinity with document management systems.
- English language proficiency (verbal and written) and fluent in Dutch language.
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel) and Outlook.
