Do you have demonstrable experience of designing and rolling out service strategies, and translating these into operational terms? Can you use your enthusiasm to stimulate your stakeholders and overcome resistance? We are looking for a highly motivated Director of Service Operations with outstanding interpersonal skills.
Your Department
Life Cycle Services is responsible for around 20% of Vanderlande’s total income and this share is growing fast. Service Operations is a central department located in Veghel, tasked with helping our organisation and its Customer Centres to execute their growth. This support consists of creating a service strategy, developing service tools and improving the maintenance of our products.The Director Service Operations is responsible for the Life-cycle Services execution and customer services of material handling solutions worldwide and has a dotted line to all service activities in the branches.
Service Operations is an internationally operating service organization for our customers in the Airports, Warehousing and Parcel business units. Service Operations consists of more than 600 employees (incl. contingent workers) who work together to make sure systems are available around the clock for our customers to use. In scope 143 mio sales (2017), 40 SBS sites in more than 20 different countries.You have 5 direct reports.
Your responsibilities
As Director of Service Operations you will expand the service activities of Vanderlande by launching new service sites with clear added value to the market, and you will be responsible for supporting Customer Centers in the execution of services and implementing the service strategy. Create business opportunities.
Influence decision-making processes (change management). Building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers (both internally and at customer level) and negotiating skills are essential in that respect.
