Vanderlande – challenges in motion
The position of Senior Spare Parts Coordinator requires a strong and commercial customer focus. You make a significant contribution to the development of the Vanderlande Spare Parts business and customer service experience.
Your position
The Senior Spare Parts Coordinator represents the first point of contact for customers - both internally and externally - within the Spare Parts Sales Support team. You will adopt an autonomous role and oversee the 'order-to-cash process', introducing initiatives for improvement where required. In addition, you will contribute towards the development of the global Spare Parts business in collaboration with the commercial team and account managers. You will take the initiative to flag any sticking points in the service provided to the customer and make improvements to it.
Tasks / responsibilities
First point of contact for the customer via email and telephone
Responsible for quotations, processing of orders and invoicing customers through the JD Edwards ERP system
Responsible for after-sales service
Sparring partner for the internal organisation and customers
Your department
The Spare Parts department is globally responsible for marketing, procurement, sales, planning and delivery of Vanderlande material handling Spare Parts. The department is part of the Global Services business unit and consists of three teams:
You represent the central point of contact for internal and external customers, requiring sound communicational skills. A proactive commercial approach will allow you to make that extra sale. Your input will effectively determine which Spare Parts the customer purchases.
