These breakthroughs will are also increase the customer satisfaction.As a Lean Transformation manager you will support the change journey of Lean/Operational Excellence in ASML in a sustainable way.
You will provide support to the line organization through coaching, planning, execution and providing follow up on the LEAN deployment activities.This requires a detailed co-ordination of the projects and additional change management elements, training and coaching, event planning and execution & follows up of improvement team and their leadership.
The results of the deployments (deliverables, business impact and mindset change) are owned by the management teams. As a Lean Transformation manager you will respectfully challenge the status quo and act as a role model for LEAN/ Operational Excellence thinking.
Job Description
As a Lean Transformation Manager you will:
- Coach team leaders and group Leaders in so called Project Kaizens and Daily Kaizens
- Assure the quality of Standard Operating Procedures
- Support connecting teams in the value chain and drive x-sector team best practice sharing
- Support visual management development and give feedback on lean practices on all levels.
- Shape the LEAN methodology and measure LEAN maturity.
- Support Kaizen events and Voice of the customer-workshops,
- Deliver Value stream analysis and support Continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive continuous improvements of standards and the quality assurance of the usage of standards
- Define the overall work plan with the project executive,
- Coordinate project teams through different phases,
- Ensure support, provide adequate status updates through
- Share responsibility to reach the target together with line management
- Enforce prerequisites for sustainability of results and to
- Be the daily contact point for BL DUV LEAN team
- Execute Business case calculations: evaluate the financial consequences of required resources to implement LEAN concepts and translate the realized improvements into positive business impact Contribution to the improvements value stream designs by participating in or facilitating problem solving sessions;
- Help teams to identify their process KPIs and develop their Mission Control and Visual dashboards
- Set-up Project Kaizens and implement Daily Kaizens per team
- Participate and facilitate problem solving sessions
- Lead and execute improvements for pre-defined KPI's
- Train and coach ASML employees, management on Lean principles and behaviors
- Participate in cross department initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the project/program/portfolio management processes
In order to do that you need to have the ambition to:
- Drive internal improvements from set-up of initiatives to implementation
- Coordinate program and change management elements, training and coaching, event planning and execution & follow up.
- Help leadership in co-designing and run Lean transformations in specific areas – as the project leader: this means
- Show Problem solving leadership
- Build-up the lean knowledge of the business line in close cooperation with the Lean Competence Center and activities in ASML Operations and
- Work closely together with the Lean Deployment program within the Business Line DUV
Context of the positionThe Lean Transformation Manager position is 100% dedicated to the Global Quality department that works in close communication with the Business Line DUV and you will report directly to a Global Quality staff member
ASML - Lean Transformation Manager Job Requirements
- Experienced (Master) Black Belt with tangible waste reduction project experienced
- Bachelor/ Master degree (in Business Administration or technical background)
- + 5 yrs experience in Project/Program or portfolio management
- Preferably certified in Lean Six Sigma, Prince2, IPMA-D, IPMA PMO, PM-Bok or similar
Experience- Experience in LEAN / Operational Excellence deployment or application
- Experience in a project environment (Lean thinking in a support organization)
- Led improvements preferably in a technical environment
- Experience with training groups in the LEAN/ Operational Excellence philosophy;
- Additional relevant experience Change management and continuous improvement methods (problem solving, six sigma) project management is a preference
