Nordson DIMA B.V. located in Deurne develops and manufactures advanced systems for the product lines Dispensing, Bonding and Soldering and SMT Systems and sells these systems worldwide.
To support the growing market we are looking for an enthusiastic fulltime colleague, that will join our team as PLC Embedded Software Engineer.
Your job
As a Software Engineer you will be part of the New Product Development group and you develop in close cooperation with colleagues new machines. Together you are responsible for the development and validation of application software as well as control software for the control and operation of a machine. You also help determining the architecture of control systems and software applications and give technical advice.
Your profile
To qualify for this position you have at least a Bachelor degree in computer science, mechatronics, electronics or equivalent and several years of relevant work experience.
You have an excellent knowledge of WPF, C #, C ++, UML and Windows platforms, and preferably also CANopen, TCP / IP, XML, MFC and .NET. Knowledge of PLC systems (eg Beckhoff) and their development and experience developing firmware for real time microprocessor-controlled embedded systems is a must. Motion and machine control experience is a plus.
You also have an excellent knowledge of the English language both verbal and in writing and you have strong communication skills. You are an enthusiastic team player, who is also proactive, creative and accurate. Furthermore you are prepared to travel frequently across Europe.
