In the Project Leader Manufacturing Integration role, you are responsible for the delivery of all required Manufacturing work preparation from the Development & Engineering (D&E) projects towards Factory execution. You manage the project team that delivers the Manufacturing sequences. You plan and drive the early qualification of work preparation on proto and pilot systems.
Job Description
- Plans, coordinates and organizes the project team of Manufacturing Integration engineers and architect(s) to deliver all required work preparation from the D&E projects towards factory execution;
- Creates, maintains and executes the Manufacturing Integration plan, based on the Manufacturing Integration strategy (architect), factory output plan, D&E delivery plan, System Integration proto planning, etc;
- Drives the early risk reduction of work preparation on proto and pilot systems;
- Manages stakeholders by setting the necessary communication manners (meetings, guidelines, rules, reports etc.) in order to obtain inputs needed for and communication output from the Manufacturing Integration project;
- Reports on Manufacturing Integration and cycle time status towards and during execution on integration (proto) and pilot systems and towards ASML Product Generation Process Key Decisions;
- Analyses gaps in work preparation, judges criticality based on impact towards the Manufacturing process and escalates critical items to relevant stakeholders;
- Validates and releases tested Manufacturing work preparation to the factory with an optimized sequence and cycle time;
- Supports System Integration and factory during execution of new Manufacturing content on proto and pilot systems;
- Interacts with cross-functional groups (engineers and scientists, manufacturing personnel, upper management, logistics, suppliers);
- Crosses functional boundaries and builds constructive and effective relationships throughout the whole organization.
Context of the positionThe DE (Development & Engineering) P&I (Performance & Integration) System Integration department is responsible for defining and driving the system integration of new products/options for full functional machine and performance qualification within time to market target.The DE P&I SI EUV Manufacturing group within this department is responsible for the integration of the Manufacturing work preparation towards the Factory. This includes the creation and validation of the Manufacturing sequences (blueprints) for proto and pilot system build and qualification. Furthermore, this includes the roll-up and chasing of all Manufacturing work preparation deliverables from D&E towards the FactoryThe Manufacturing Integration Project Lead (MI PL) in DE P&I SI EUV Manufacturing Group reports structurally to the Group Leader and operationally to the Project Cluster Manager Industrialization. The MI PL manages the Manufacturing Integration project team, consisting of engineers and architect(s).
ASML - Project Lead Manufacturing Integration Job Requirements
MSc or BSc in technical/industrial engineering or technical business administration.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a project management role in a technological environment;
- Experience with Production and/or Manufacturing work preparation;
- Experience with system integration is a pre.
Personal skills- Strong communicator in English and Dutch;
- Self-assured, capable of convincing people, also at higher management levels;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, work pleasantly with people with different backgrounds and in different departmental and geographical cultures; at various hierarchical levels; team builder;
- Strong analytic capability and a pro-active initiating attitude;
- Change- management competencies;
- Ability to plan and set priorities.
