Application Operation IT Specialist in BMW Financial Services (m/f)
The BMW Group is offering you an interesting role as an Application Operation IT Specialist (m/f) in the field of financial services. BMW Financial Services is a division of the BMW Group and is one of the most successful suppliers of financial services in the automotive sector. We ensure that the IT systems for business processes are reliable, secure, easy-to-operate and functional.
As an Application Operation IT Specialist (m/f), you will be responsible for the proper management and handling of adjustments to the applications that you support, along with the management of suppliers.
In addition, you will independently lead smaller projects and support the implementation of changes. You will provide advice when there are IT architecture questions
and will be responsible for the creation of technical specifications, test cases and the estimation of IT efforts.
Within the scope of your job, you will play a key role working together with IT project managers, technical departments, as well as IT operation departments, and thus achieve optimal solutions
You should have:
University degree in information technology, business informatics, business management focusing on computer science, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification.
Extensive professional experience in the area of information technology, preferably in the financial services sector.
Experience in IT conception, IT implementation and IT support.
Initial experience in IT project management.
Competence in SQL, Oracle or DB2.
Ideally, knowledge of Linux and a programming language.
Business-fluent German and a good command of English.
Teamwork and communication skills.

Joy in independent working.
Assertiveness.
Strong negotiation skills.
