Description:

Our client has an exciting opportunity to fill the role of Technical Director for automotive, located in southern North Rhine-Westphalia. The Technical Director will be a member of the leadership team in the Europe organization and deliver chemical and engineering knowledge as well as leadership expertise to lead new product development projects for automotive customers.

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Lead the development of the new technologies/products with the strong knowledge of the customers` needs and the technical information in the market
• Fundamental understanding of associated process chemistry
• Lead and consult on experimental designs to improve products
• Collaboration globally and cross-functionally (R&D, manufacturing, quality) on technical projects to drive new products/technologies for the target customers and the new business launch

Technical Director (m/f) for Automotive Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

 

• Technical expert with long-term experience with adhesives and sealants, preferably in the field of automotive
• Fluent in German and English
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to negotiate and to work across all levels of business and customers
• Willingness to travel
• International experience would be a benefit
