SAP APO Consultant Job Description

Your responsibilities

• Analysis and review of Logistics business processes to fully understand the client's requirements
• Good knowledge of ECC:
• Materials Management /Procurement (MM)
• Available to Promise (ATP)/Order Confirmation
• Production Planning (Shopfloor control, repetitive and Process Industries)
• APO Certified:
• Demand Planning (DP)
• Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PPDS)
• Global Available To Promise (GATP)
• Identification of gaps between requirements and SAP APO (DP/PPDS) ( and SAP WM/EWM would be an advantage) functionality
• Development of target processes to be implemented, design and implementation of state-of-the-art, client specific solutions in and SAP Warehouse Management/ Extended Warehouse Management (SAP WM/EWM), including the configuration and/or customization of the system as well as related interfaces.
• Advising on Planning, Forecasting and Logistics related topics
• Development of target process documentation and of testing and training documents and execution of testing
• Delivery of key - user and end - user training sessions and provision of post go live support
• Acting as a sparring partner for the client
• Active participation in knowledge management activities as part of the European community of practice.

SAP APO Consultant Job Requirements

Requirements

• Higher education degree in Economics, Information Technology or equivalent
• Intention to or already certified in APO (DP/PPDS), IBP
• Solid process know-how and a proven track record in APO DP/PPDS
• SAP Warehouse Management/ Extended Warehouse Management (SAP WM/EWM) knowledge is an advantage
• Proven full implementation cycles (At least 3-5 Full Project Life-cycles) in SAP APO DP/PPDS (WM or SAP EWM is an advantage)
• Work experience in an international consulting company or in a project environment
• Hands-on experience within SAP WM or EWM
• Proven ability to deliver to tight timescales, Success in team working and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English
