Quality Engineer Job Description

The main purpose of this role is to ensure the quality management systems of the business are managed & maintained to compliance of all customer quality requirements. To ensure the quality & business objectives are achieved, improved & where failure is recorded, implement & manage corrective & preventative actions.

The ideal candidate will be a Quality Engineer from an Aerospace background who can ensure the quality throughout the whole company is kept to a high standard.

Role: 

• To uphold company policies as documented in the Business Strategy.
• To ensure correct practice, legalities and responsibilities in respect of QMS/H&S/EMS are maintained.
• Customer liaison in respect of customer returns & Route Cause Analysis.
• Manage internal and external auditing system.
• Maintaining the Quality Management System.
• To manage Quality Clinics.
• To initiate, manage and document all corrective actions to ensure preventative action is effective and production management is not compromised.

Quality Engineer Job Requirements

The Person:

• Extensive Quality Engineering experience. 
• Experience working within a workshop.
• Extensive experience of using Route Cause Analysis.
• Aspirations to progress into a Quality Manager.
