Profile heading:
-A level of secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary education, and appropriate professional experience of at least three years
-Thorough knowledge of one of the languages of the European Communities and a satisfactory knowledge of another language of the Communities to the extent necessary for the performance of the duties
-Professional experience and/or training in performing aviation occurrence data entry and preliminary assessment of aviation safety occurrences in the domains of Airworthiness and/or Operations
-Good understanding of aviation safety occurrence reporting requirements pertaining to Continuing Airworthiness of Type Design or to the Approval of Organisations for which the Agency is the competent authority or to Air Operations, as shown by training or professional experience
-Good command of both written and spoken English, two more EU former languages would be eligible
-Professional experience in the analysis of aviation safety data in other domains (e.g. Air Traffic Control, Airports); knowledge of safety management systems (SMS) and experience in safety investigation, safety analysis, safety management or safety performance
-Knowledge of the European aviation safety regulatory framework
-Ability to identify key points and problems, as well as links between issues including the ability to consider alternative options and their impact on results;
-Ability to handle a large volume of work under pressure in an efficient and timely manner; motivated, dynamic personality with strong aptitude for team work
-Proven ability to work independently with minimum supervision
