Senior Engineer Testing & Verification of ECU (m/f) Job Description

Responsibiities:

We are offering an exciting opportunity as Senior Engineer (f/m) for testing and verification of electronic control unit (ECU) sensors in the innovative field of autonomous driving. Your responsibilities will include:

• Systematic validation, from requirement and specification management based on model-based systems engineering (MBSE) to test case creation, execution and reporting.
• This will include central test tool and test infrastructure management as well as collaboration to design testing strategies and define requirements derived from the tests for architecture, design and development of components for autonomous driving.
• An exciting challenge will be to conceive and develop high-performance component hardware in the loop (HiL) and software in the loop (f-SiL) infrastructure to achieve a one-hundred-percent testing landscape in the verification portion of the validation chain.
• Your tasks will be rounded off by representation of your project contents within the team and presentation of results in specialist and management committees.

Senior Engineer Testing & Verification of ECU (m/f) Job Requirements

You should have:

• University degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable course of study.
• In-depth professional and project management experience.
• Extensive experience in the development of control units, the development of embedded systems and requirements management (DOORS).
• Extensive knowledge of sensor-related algorithms, including design, optimisation and validation, as well as knowledge of vehicle bus technologies (CAN, Flexray, Ethernet).
• Excellent knowledge of tools and testing infrastructures (ADTF, TraceLab, VigemLogger, XorayaLogger, Autotrigger, software gateway programming) for quality, testing and validation processes, as well as programming skills.
• Business-fluent English, German would be an advantage.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Analytical thinking.
• Willingness to travel.
