ASML - Warehouse Production Engineer Job Description
Realize ‘World Class' support to the Warehouse department on Engineering related questions in order to ensure product quality, short lead-times and ‘short time to market' by continuous improvement of ASML's new and existing products and processes as handled by the ASML Warehouses.
Job Description
- Introduce and maintain the Warehouse processes according to the 6p=P way of working;
- Support:
- Contributes to the rapid solution of complex faults (support task) and takes the necessary initiatives and practical decisions;
- Provide Technical Support in a second line to the Warehouse department in ASML;
- Solve disturbances, and create work around and solutions. Prevent disturbances to re-occur by implementing structural solutions;
- Provide training and knowledge on cleaning & packing related questions (materials, means, methods);
- Analyses the production tools/process within the Warehouses, points out structural problems and bottlenecks, works out suggestions for improvements and initiates their implementation, often in close cooperation with the surrounded departments as Development, Operations, and Customer Support;
- Generates process flow charts, production blueprints, routings, work instructions, process parameters and indicators;
- Introduces and maintain the agreed FLOW processes (e.g. issue resolution, DRB, etc.) into the warehouse;
- Define Work-instructions and Transmit Planning & Manufacturing policy;
- Ensure availability and usability of means of production / tools. Consult on required know how/expertise and capacities. Analyze Manufacturing processes on effectiveness and efficiency. Measure effects of improved products and processes.
Context of the position The engineer reports to the Group Leader EF PS Facility Engineering.

Education
- Higher Educational Level in technical disciplines.
- Knowledge of Business and Administration is an advantage.
Experience- Hands on experience in a production environment with high tech products and complex production processes;
- Experience in the field of Technical Production is an advantage.
