The Display Business unit is part of the Applied Materials portfolio(www.appliedmaterials.com) which enables all major process steps of the wafer fab and display industry.
Within the Display Business Unit we are a dynamic and expanding team focused on the fabrication and testing of electron beam systems and sophisticated adjacent components, which are applied to pixel testing and defect analysis by means of advanced mechanics as well as Analogue, Digital and High voltage electronics. Our operations include design, development and manufacturing facilities in Europe and Asia (Taiwan, Japan).
Our customers are major display manufacturing companies (TFT LCD, OLED etc.) which rely on our yield management solutions for their production.
We are currently developing new systems for further entering new market segments and growing our group’s business and are therefore looking for a
Display Engineer (m/f)
Based in Feldkirchen / Munich
Responsibilities:

• Integration and Test of electron-optical modules, systems and spares (mechanics and electronics) to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives
• Troubleshooting assemblies and/or final systems. Reworking them as a result of testing.
• Shipping and Configuration and Documentation
• Assisting in the transition of new products into manufacturing
• Maintaining reporting systems and documentation for Quality auditing and Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) purposes
• May assist in installation / upgrade activity and system New Product Introduction (NPI)

Display Engineer (m/f) Based in Feldkirchen / Munich Job Requirements

Skills and Education:

• Engineer or Technician in Electrical, Mechatronics or Precision Mechanics Engineering or an equivalent discipline
• Minimum 4 years of working experience in a related technical field / equivalent technical product; such as electronics (digital, analogue, High voltage), precision mechanics, micro-mechanics, high or ultra- high vacuum technology, E-Beam technology
• Demonstrated capability of working cross-functionally with internal and/or external partners
• Team player with a high level of awareness for quality and productivity
• Thorough, systematical and sustainable working style, especially related to keeping technical documentation up to date throughout the product life-cycle
• Good software skills (MS Office, Outlook, web-based tools for tracking and exchange of know-how; SAP beneficial but not a must)
• Good oral and written German and English language skills
• The position requires some limited travelling
