(Prospective) European Patent Representative Job Description

As European Patent Representative you are responsible for the patent portfolio of the business unit Marel Stork Poultry Processing.
You are pro-active where the possibilities of industrial property are concerned and you use knowledge, products and ideas effectively.
You contribute to the writing of patents and you take care of the procedures for purchasing and preserving the protection.
You also contribute to procedures for maintaining the protection .
You supervise the process of opposing and you supply knowledge to the internal organization. 
You are part of the IP network within Marel and the IPSC (IP Steering Committee) of Marel Stork Poultry Processing. 

(Prospective) European Patent Representative Job Requirements

• a completed academic education in a technical scientific direction, preferably Mechanical Engineering or a field closely related to it;
• You are preferably a sworn Dutch and European Patent Representative;
• 3 to 5 years of working experience, preferably in mechanical engineering for the food industry;
• You have a good command of English, competent in German and French is an advantage;
• You are also strong in communication and you have a practical and pro-active attitude. You have an analytic mind and you do not give up easily.
