At the Darmstadt site, around 500 highly qualified employees manufacture and market high-tech systems and components for weighing, feeding, vibration conveying and screening. This intelligent measuring technology is used in industries such as cement, steel, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and transport.
You will use your in-depth knowledge of the market and the rail industry to expertly advise and support our existing customer base in certain European countries and acquire new customers.
You understand the needs of our customers, pinpoint the right local contacts through your own network, and work with them and our internal partners to develop appropriate solutions on the basis of our product portfolio. Our solutions for measuring forces on the track or in the workshop are networked with customer systems and offer the benefits that our customers value. You will offer expert advice on both mechanical and software issues.
In technical consulting you will independently draw up quotations and handle order negotiations to bring them to a successful conclusion. You will supervise complex projects in close collaboration with customers and internal departments, for example technical and commercial order processing and development. You are always up to date with new technologies and contribute workable new ideas to the development of new target markets, applications, and sales promotion measures.
You have a degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering and in-depth technical knowledge.
You have several years' experience in the sales of complex technical capital goods in the rail sector and have strong selling skills.
You also have good intercultural skills.
You are well organized, particularly when it comes to frequent travel.
You communicate well in German and have an equally good command of at least one other European language.
