Introduction
We are looking for a strong leader for the marketing and sales activities in the Europe organization for the Heavy Vehicle and Off Road (HVOR) market. He/she will be responsible to grow business with and beyond Sensata’s portfolio of innovative sensor products. He/she is responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing a strategy for revenue growth, market share dominance and business development in the HVOR market space. The Marketing Product Manager is part of a strong global team and will report into the global marketing director for HVOR. A candidate with work experience in the HVOR industry is preferred.

Job description
- Own an end market within HVOR, build a strong understanding of that market, and determine the strategy to grow it.
- Work closely with colleagues from sales, engineering, quality and operations to execute that strategy.
- Strong customer focus: Knows what drives our customers, how to satisfy them and how to serve them with the best product offering.
- Strong visionary with excellent commercial and technical skills – must be able to understand HVOR applications and technology trends, and what that means for our portfolio.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize legislative, competitive and technical discontinuities that present opportunities.
- Internally drive the organization to sustained differentiation and growth. Define product roadmaps and align with engineering on next generation products that need to be developed. Prioritize and ensure resources are spent wisely for optimized growth.
- Closely cooperate with US and Asia to develop a consistent worldwide strategy within relevant market segments.
- Accurate forecasting of existing and new business opportunities.
- Support of acquisition activities within Sensata on an occasional basis.
- Visit customers and other Sensata sites around the globe and stay well connected.
- Report strategy and progress to Sensata’s senior leadership on a regular basis.
- Ability to master a broad product portfolio that consists of various sensors (pressure, position, temperature...) with different technologies.
- Develop detailed customer proposals/quotations/business cases and obtain appropriate management approval.

Requirements
- BS Degree required; Engineering preferred;
- MBA is desirable;
- Strong technical and commercial skills are essential;
- Technical B2B marketing experience with demonstrated success leading revenue and market share growth initiatives is preferred;
- Ability to engage in technical discussions with customers;
- Working knowledge of HVOR industry is desirable;
- Familiarity of custom sensor technology a plus;
- Strong analytical and computer skills.
