As designer in the design team, you will participate in translating high level automotive customer requirements for modules and/or products into mixed signal designs for In-Vehicle Networking transceivers, supporting CAN, LIN and FlexRay (Drive-by–wire) bus systems. These transceivers can also be part of System basis Chips, where several functions are integrated on one chip, offering our automotive customers complete system solutions.
Mentioned SBC’s contain a variety of mixed signal circuits like multiple voltage regulators, SMPS, watchdog, power supply monitoring circuits, power management etc. These modules and products are developed in high voltage Bipolar/CMOS/DMOS -SOI processes and should meet very tough automotive requirements on EMC, very low power design and lifetime profiles at extreme temperatures.
You will work in a cross-functional project team and will be responsible for the definition of the design and development strategy, the product integration flow, definition of development objectives, establishing appropriate tools and development flows, finding optimal balance between time, cost and quality and ensure optimal reuse. You also ensure traceability of requirements in all development areas during all design phases and are responsible for clear communication from design team to parties in- and outside the organisation.
You can build and present transparent plans, supported by the team. You know the concept DfX and ensure that designs are DfX compliant.
