Job description
Manage Marketing activities in the EU within the Electrical Protection markets. Sensata Electrical Protection products are already well known in these segments and are selling through various channels to the main suppliers. The market is very challenging but we see strong growth opportunities at many customers including some key European players that have global influence. Key elements of this position will be to review our current product portfolio in context of the market over the next 10 to 15 years as well as identifying new growth vectors into these markets.
 
Our main customers are companies like Miele, Whirlpool and Bosch and with them we have a lot of exciting growth opportunities. The new Market Segment Manager will report into Commercial Director EP Europe with a dotted line to a Global Marketing Segment Manager.
Potentially the candidate for this position will develop into marketing manager with the marketing team reporting into him/her.
 
Responsibilities:

• Manage and increase market share and margins for the product portfolio and overall market.
• Direct and support the Sensata sales team and indirect sales channels within Europe
• Analyze, understand, map and write business plans for the market developments
• Understand the products and work with Global Segment Managers and Design teams to identify and deliver new Business opportunities.
• Through the Account Management structure, build and maintain relationships with key customers to identify future requirements.
• Develop and initiate new business and new accounts
• Manage transfer business between other regions and ensure that Sensata Technologies maintains the business.
• Working closely with the OEM’s, collects information to define and review the growth strategy, such as market data, competitors data, technologies, costs.
• Evaluate future requirements in both market segments and drive these requirements to product specification and present business case to senior management.
• Facilitate the long range planning, annual planning and monthly results reporting

Marketing Manager Electrical Protection Job Requirements

• Master in Business Management with technical affinity or (Electrical) engineering preferably supported by business management
• At least 5 years experience in marketing environment, preferable high technical B-2-B
• Multilingual, English, and German / French preferred
• Analytical, self steering and driven
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Result oriented
• Building and maintaining relationships
• Willing to travel extensively
• We have a relocation policy
