Project Engineer (m / w) Job Description

Your Tasks:

• Line of custom projects for developing new and existing LED-based applications and systems
• Regular customer contact and exchange to clarify specific needs and creation of product specifications
• Creation and analysis of development concepts, transfer and development of concepts through to series production. Responsibility for design, development and testing, both as project manager and as an employee in one or more development teams
• Instructions for creation of product documentation and introduction into production
• Development of LED optics and optical systems (simulation, sampling, serial transfer)
• Occasional cooperation with the corporate legal department at the patents for new designs to login. Regular review and evaluation of the patents of 
  competitor companies
• Search and selection, in collaboration with the Sourcing team, new suppliers and materials to enable the development of new designs and products

Project Engineer (m / w) Job Requirements

Your Profile:

• University degree (TU / FH / BA) in electrical engineering, physics, optics, photonics, optoelectronics or a comparable degree, master's degree also like
• Several years of professional experience in the development of modules for lighting applications
• Good general knowledge of lighting engineering, lighting design and light measurement.First experience with LED lighting projects are desirable, but not required
• Good knowledge of project management
• Practical knowledge of the construction of tests and measurements, LabVIEW, data collection and analysis, statistical analysis of data
• Good command of spoken and written
• Good knowledge of standard software programs (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• A high willingness to communicate, the ability of technical issues clearly and in an understandable way, intercultural understanding and flexibility, team spirit and assertivenessas well as technical management experience are desirable Soft Skills
