ASML - CS Infrastructure Support – Business Information Techno Job Description
As a Business Information Technology Specialist Europe you are the link between the ASML CS and customer user community in Europe and the technical owners and developers of business information systems (applications and technical infrastructure) for which our team is responsible. Your main responsibilities are to ensure that these business information systems are available, operational and usable where and when they are needed by our engineers and customers in the European CS organization.
Job Description
- You support users, in case they experience problems or have questions, and roll-out the business information systems (e.g. Coach, SMS, EPS, SDT, ARE, FabTop) locally as 3rd line functional support specialist. You evaluate, prioritize and justify improvement and change requests, gather CS Field requirements (that are input for the CS roadmaps) and interface with the application owners and business representatives in our CS Infrastructure Support team.
- You are the ‘eyes' and ‘ears' of CS Service Engineering by aligning with the CS Field offices and local CS management, including making arrangements on beta-testing (e.g. User Acceptance Tests on business information systems).
- You test and roll-out improvements on business information systems and ensure that Service Level Agreements that are applicable to your region are adhered to by all involved parties and support the CS Field way of working (service baseline) effectively and efficiently.
- Furthermore you participate in projects that develop new and/or affect existing business information systems. Your primary responsibility in these projects is providing the knowledge on the CS Field way of working with regards to business information systems and the needs of the users.
Context of the position Sector Information The sector Customer Support (CS) is responsible for the maintenance, repair and continuous improvement ofASMLsystems at customer locations, as well as transferring all relevant knowledge and supporting the customer in the use of these systems in his production process. CS Central takes care that effective support of the customer by local offices is possible by providing knowledge, technical support and process support to the field offices.Position in the Organization The Business Information Technology Specialist Europe reports to the manager CS Infrastructure Support (located in Veldhoven), part of the department CS Service Engineering.
The CS infrastructure Support department has people located in Veldhoven (HQ and EU support), Taiwan and Korea (Asia support), and the US. The department Service Engineering is part of CS Field and Product Support Group.
ASML - CS Infrastructure Support – Business Information Techno Job Requirements
Position requires a bachelor degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience, mechanical aptitude, and knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, semiconductor processes, relevant software, and related. Knowledge of safety procedures required.
Experience
5 years or more experience working in a software application support role in an international setting, preferably in a semiconductor industry. Knowledge of the ASML way of working in general and the CS Field way of working specifically is of added value to this position.
