Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f) Job Description

• Taking responsibility for the quality of supplied parts
• Carrying out supplier assessments, including supplier audits
• Carrying out supplier releases and supplier quality releases
• Conducting Advanced Quality Planning (APQP) with suppliers
• Managing supplier development and continuous improvement
• Tracking supplier corrective actions
• Carrying out statistical evaluations of all supplier quality relevant items
• Reducing supplier failures in the field, in manufacturing, and incoming inspections
• Releasing materials
• Supporting Advanced Quality Engineering on customer claims
• Conducting special releases for non-conforming supplied goods for the supplier (in collaboration with Plant Quality)
• Organizing supplier actions on location

Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f) Job Requirements

• A university degree in Electrical Engineering
• An excellent knowledge of supplier quality processes and quality systems
• Detailed knowledge of relevant quality standards and tools such as VDA / ISO TS 16949
• A good understanding of different supplier manufacturing processes
• First professional experience in an industrial automotive environment is an asset
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Excellent MS Office skills
• Fluent in English, all other languages are considered an asset
