ASML - Manager Inventory Control & Critical Parts Management Job Description
You will manage the Inventory Controllers and Critical Parts Planners (6-7FTE) and oversee the projects carried out with involved stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing several projects yourself. Main focus is supporting the team in improving material availability in the field by understanding and debottlenecking planning processes and at the same time preventing and reducing inefficient inventories.
Job Description
- Accountable for operational team results and structural improvements through project initiatives;
- Participates and manages cross sector improvement projects;
- Drive continuous improvement of planning guidelines;
- Understand root-causes of critical parts and drive for containment and solutions. Use the gained experience to prevent parts from becoming critical;
- Manage cross-sector material escalations;
- Manage 2 teams of experienced and highly educated professionals;
- Coaches and develops (planning) competencies within teams;
- High visibility within organization, weekly presentations to broad audience (senior management).
Context of the position Global Logistics Services (GLS) is responsible for all inbound and outbound flows to and from the factory. Customer Logistics is part of Global Logistics Services and responsible for all outbound flows (machines, upgrades, parts and tools) form the factory to the field.Within Customer Logistics the department Supply Planning is responsible for supplying parts and tools to the Global Distribution Center and local warehouses. The Manager Inventory Control & Critical Parts Management reports to the Manager Supply Planning.Strong interfaces with New Product Logistics and Sourcing Logistics.
ASML - Manager Inventory Control & Critical Parts Management Job Requirements
Relevant Master degree (e.g Industrial Engineering or Business Administration).
Experience
- Advanced knowledge on Spare Parts Management;
- 5-10 years experience in a large international company, ideally Supply Chain, Engineering or Operations background;
- Proven project management/consulting and people management skills;
- Demonstrated experience with change management and Continuous Improvement Programs.
Personal skills - Creates to a positive and productive work environment by searching for solutions and ideas and giving input and assures a certain level of flexibility;
- Leadership skills, drive for results, act under high pressure;
- Has the ability to support, motivate and develop employees;
