Context of the position
The Twinscan Factory (TF) is responsible both for the production and installation of wafer steppers and scanners, including planning and logistics. The department Delivery Operations is responsible for the qualification through functional testing of modules and complete ASML systems. All this is done in accordance with strict quality norms. Today we deliver future technology on our road to become the best factory in the world!
What does our client require from the Team leader Test Department:
• The Team Leader manages and coaches a team of 10-15 people and is responsible for effective and efficient execution of the production process within TF DO;
• Output: Realize the planned output of all deliverables of production, conform plan. Ensure shift progress within quality standards, delivery time and cost targets;
• Planning: Responsible for operational production planning and supervise progress to maximize system up time during his shift. Set priorities in case of several machines down if necessary together with involved Manager. Fulfill capacity claim of Output Leaders and ensure / drive the committed progress per shift;
• Management: Manage and coach a team of testers and technicians within his shift. Continuously improve on flexibility by optimizing the team's work force with regard to capacity, skill mix and proficiency so that the team is at any moment capable of executing ASML's plans: short term production plans as well as continuous improvement targets and ramp-up / ramp-down scenarios;
• Coach and motivate team members (e.g. feedback, routines, performance reviews). Manage cooperation and harmony in the group by giving support, finding solutions and sharing information. Contributes to a productive working climate and ensures the desired level of drive and flexibility;• Ensure proper execution of HRM policies and procedures;
• Ensure proper execution of safety policies and procedures;
• Improvement: Indicate, initiate and drive actions to improve the Quality of products, the Flow production process and way of working within Test Progress Group;
• Lead small improvement projects and 8D's. Evaluate the effect of these actions / improvements.Education
• Bachelor/ academic intellectual level.
Experience
• Proven experience with high-tech, low-volume production environment;
• Senior role within production or improvement teams;
• Experience as team leader (in total 10 - 15 years work experience)
Personal skills
• Full knowledge of the Dutch and English language are a must;
• People management skills (good interpersonal skills, motivator, team builder, coach);
• Analytical, structured, able to work with the available information;
• Decision maker, set priorities within shift, delegate tasks;
