ASML - Safety Expert Job Description
Develops and implements EHS program to enhance working conditions on all employees & contractors by:
- Ensuring compliance to ASML EHS and legal requirements;
- Contributing to a safe working environment for employees according to ASML standards and requirements;
- Establishing and sustaining continuous improvement of EHS awareness- and compliance levels by developing new policies and guidelines.
Job Description - Able to manage your own EHS projects on improving safety performance;
- Is able to secure progress in different management levels of ASML (projects, product teams, account teams etc.);
- Contributes to EHS projects of EHS team members;
- Carries out know how of local legislation and standards by suggesting new policies and guidelines on EHS issues and transfers them to (global) policies and guidelines together with local Safety Process coordinators;
- Advises on EHS matters in case of new building or rebuilding activities and manufacturing;
- Attends disturbances on EHS topics and recommends local management on taking measurements;
- Ensures that tools and equipment meet legal requirements based on local legislation;
- Performs local EHS audits on regular intervals and develops/implements new policies/guidelines based on the output from the audits;
- Recognizes, keeps track and reports unsafe situations (incident reporting);
- Perfoms accident analysis, together with stakeholders;
- Gives advice to local Safety Process Coordinators, based on ASML guidelines and standards and/or legal requirements.
Context of the position Reports to: FM Competence Leader Safety
Manages: No direct reports
Interfaces: ASML employees and FM Safety representatives, Management of customer organization (D&E, Twin Scan and EUV factory), Safety Process Management, Internal Audit Management and local authorities.

Bachelors or university degree, safety professional HVK, Hoger Veiligheids Kundige, level.
Experience
5 to 10 years experience in a high tech or similar environment.
