Mechanical Engineer Oil & Gas Job Description

Our client is a global based consultancy engineering firm, headquartered in the Netherlands, working on multidisciplinary projects in the Oil & Gas, Buildings & Structures, Industry & Energy, Infrastructure & Ports, Maritime and Water sectors. For their department of heavy mechanical engineering, we are currently looking for Senior Mechanical Engineers. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Mechanical Engineering designs and calculations;
• Responsible for contact and technical advice to clients and relations;
• Quality control of designs within the department;
• Overseeing other engineers, designers and constructors and evaluate their work.

Mechanical Engineer Oil & Gas Job Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience To be able to execute the above mentioned tasks and responsibilities in the right manner, we expect you to have the following skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant subject;
• At least five years relevant work experience in the design of heavy mechanical engineering constructions;
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor is a plus;
• Pro-active attitude and strong problem solving skills;
• Fluent command of the English language (both oral and written); Dutch language skills are an advantage.
