Senior Mechanical Engineer Job Description

Our client is an international, multidisciplinary consultancy firm, which over the years has been specializing in the on-site and in-house engineering of multidisciplinary projects form conceptual design to the validation. Main focus of the company is the Industry, Energy and the Oil & Gas sector. For several positions within this company we are currently looking for experienced Mechanical Engineers.

Tasks and responsibilities
You will be working within a department surrounded by many specialists on your area of expertise; rotating equipment, storage tanks, chemical processing installations and pressure vessels. The line of work consists of studies as well as engineering.

The project will vary from the simple basic engineering for a repair of a pressure vessel to the complete new installation of a power plant in which you can be accompanied by colleagues from all over the world. You roll consists among others of the basic engineering, detail engineering, conceptual design, creating specifications and joining a team for the tendering of a new project.

Senior Mechanical Engineer Job Requirements

Experience and education
 

• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering with related courses;
• Minimal five years work experience in Process and Chemical Industry;
• Experience with static and rotating equipment as well as European Regulations on this subject;
• You are a team player with extensive experience;
• Fluent in English both written and oral, willingness to learn Dutch is essential;
• Willingness to travel internationally.
