Nobleo Technology
Nobleo Technology is a mechatronics knowledge house, founded in 2011 and located in Eindhoven, the heart of the Dutch High-Tech arena. The name Nobleo is derived from “noblesse oblige†and stands for “talent is an obligationâ€. Nobleo has dedicated tools for talent
detection and development at its disposal and believes that it’s the engineers talent that makes the difference in today’s high-tech environment of complex and ever accelerating development projects.
Nobleo is a group of highly-skilled and experienced mechatronics professionals operating, for the largest part, on-site and in the heart of the customer’s projects, in a role as either consultant, architect, designer or hands-on integrator. By means of coaching and job rotation ‘Nobleans’ learn fast and create value, for their customers as well as for themselves.
Nobleo is a healthy mix of senior and junior profiles within a number of key mechatronics disciplines, such as servo control, system dynamics, actuator design, sensing and embedded software. This mix gives Nobleo’s customers (directly or indirectly) access to a large experience base in the field of precision mechatronics.
Nobleo stands for ‘noblesse oblige’: a talent is an obligation, an obligation to perform, to make the most of your talents and to embrace the idea that professionalism at the top means continuous learning. Nobleo understands that this calls for a partner that helps detect, develop and tune your talents. Noblesse oblige: a talent is an obligation.
Nobleo recruits new colleagues based on their talent and measured in a metric of Nobleo core values. Of course expertise, professional knowledge and experience are valued heavily, but in addition a strong focus is put on attitude and behavior, passion, being entrepreneurial and relationship oriented.
As a Mechatronics System Architect you are responsible for conceiving, designing, optimizing and maintaining the functional architecture of mechatronic (often functionally complex) products. You are the ‘owner’ of system engineering budgets such as weight, accuracy, throughput, cost etc. As such you are the technology gatekeeper for the project ensuring that the system design meets the technical specifications and functional user requirements. Your experience gives you authority and you enjoy motivating others. In your role as architect you coordinate, initiate and choose amongst innovation proposals, concepts and designs of the system, its modules and components. Furthermore you oversee the contributions of various technical ‘mono disciplines’ contributing to the system design. And finally you also play a central role within feasibility studies for new products and equipment, assessing performance and risks and as such are a member of a strategic business team.
Ingredients for success
The ingredients for success in this role start with a sound technical background and education at academic level (MSc or PhD) augmented with min. 5 years of track record in (system) design in the high tech (equipment) arena. In addition relevant experience with modern (model based) design tools such as FEM analysis and multi-physics modeling, system engineering methods as well as knowledge in the area of product design and motion systems are required.
Furthermore the job requires in depth expertise in the area of mechatronics and the capability to think in terms of possibilities and solutions instead of roadblocks and limitations.
Finally good networking and communication skills in both Dutch and English are essential in order to maintain a professional network and stay on top of new technology developments.
What can you expect from us?
Our customer designs, integrates and deploys state-of-the-art production equipment with a tangible impact on people, society and the economy.
