Is accountable for his projects' overall results measured as difference with kick-off budget in terms of: Compliance with the contractual program & Gross Margin
Is accountable for contractual variations of times and costs
Is in charge of managing client overall satisfaction during project execution
Support the Project Managers of the Country/Company during all phases of the Project
Management, providing appropriate advice
Continuously monitor Projects' progress and economic results
Develop a strong Project Management function within the Country/Company throug:
Training and growth of low experienced Project Managers
Taking actions to increase motivation and commitment within the PMs
Ensuring best practice sharing
As any other Project Manager, for his own Projects:
Support the commercial department in
- Tender preparation
- Asking for the redefinition of the project’s value when necessary
Discuss and review the tendering budget with the Tendering Team and other key managers during kick-off meeting
Pursue the achievement of the project goals defined in the initial budget in terms of profitability and timing
Is responsible for project management and control, from the beginning to its conclusion, periodically updating the interested departments
Provide to Production, Procurement and Site updated and timely plans regarding Project timings and progress
Analyze project contracts, with particular attention to the “scope of work”, the technical notes and the contractual conditions
Supported by the Quantity Surveyor, ensure proper communication of project progress through reliable project reporting to Country and Regional Managers and CFOs
Define, with the support of the Global and Local Procurement Departments, the supplying conditions, terms and prices according to Group Frame contracts
Sign all project related supplying orders, according with defined limits and responsibilities of the Procurement Manager
Manage production timings according to Production Manager scheduling
Assure the monitoring of the external relations with clients, architects, the main contractor and sub-contractors, and of the internal relations with departments such as Quality, Operations,
Administration and On-Site Installation
Manage contractual variations in terms of times and costs
Establish and maintain operational budgets for his team personnel and equipment
Is responsible for the resources assigned to his department, ensuring the correct application of tools and policies on training, career path and evaluations and inputs to compensation systems
