Tender Engineer Offshore Job Description

For one of our clients we are looking for an experienced offshore engineer who is willing to become a part of the tender team of our client. Our client is an international marine company which is a specialist in offshore constructions and pipelines. Due to the further growth of the potential order portfolio of our client they need to expand their sales department in order to win more tenders.
In this roll your responsibilities consist of estimating how much material and man hours are needed to fulfill a certain project. And also trying to find ways to make these projects more cost efficient whiteout losing sight of the planning and quality standards.  You must be capable of visualizing what needs to be done for a certain project and calculate the budgets, margins and the bid. In this role you will be in direct contact with project managers, suppliers, construction and engineers.

• Up to date knowledge of all the projects within your responsibility;
• Calculate and estimate project scope;
• Backup for engineers and project managers for your specific expertise;
• Accountable for risk analyses of projects;
• Requirements analysis, purchase and contracts;
• Work according to the procedures and guidelines given by the clients;

Tender Engineer Offshore Job Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience

• BSc. Or Msc in Civil, Marine or Mining Engineering;
• Minimum of 3- 5 years’ experience in offshore projects;
• Experience with calculations, risk analyses and estimating;
• Fluent in English (both oral and writing);
• Willing to travel internationally
