Our client is a key technology innovator in the automotive industry, working on projects with significant international impact and unique facilities. Within the department Integrated Vehicle Safety, they work on an integral approach of vehicle and traffic safety. Multiple disciplines like e.g. Human Body Modeling, Environmental Perception, V2V & V2X communication, Vehicle Dynamics, Tyre Dynamics etc. work together to enhance safety and minimize possible consequences of a collision in traffic.
Job Description
As a Scientist/Engineer Tyre Dynamics you're responsible for:
Your competences
You hold a Master or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, System and Control or Automotive related, with specialization in Tyre/Vehicle Dynamics. You have proven experience in Tyre modeling and simulation of vehicle dynamics (multibody dynamics), experience in parameter identification and optimization techniques. You hold a significant number of publications in international journals with presentations on scientific conferences. Preferable experienced in dynamic behavior of road vehicles and knowledge of relevant sensors and performing experiments and processing of measurement data. You have experience with multiple software tools like: Matlab/Simulink (dSpace) and MBS tools (SimMechanics, MSC ADAMS, V.Lab, SIMPACK, DADS), preferably also experience with Fortran and C-code
