Our client is a key technology innovator in the automotive industry, working on projects with significant international impact and unique facilities. Within the department Integrated Vehicle Safety, they work on an integral approach of vehicle and traffic safety. Multiple disciplines like e.g. Human Body Modeling, Environmental Perception, V2V & V2X communication, Vehicle Dynamics, Tyre Dynamics etc. work together to enhance safety and minimize possible consequences of a collision in traffic. This job mainly contributes to an integral approach in these fields.
Job Description
Your competences
You hold a Master or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Systems and Control or Automotive related, with a specialization in Vehicle Mechatronics. You have experience in the development of control algorithms on simulation level as well as real-time implementation and testing in prototype vehicles (using Matlab/Simulink and dSpace). You have a strong interest in modeling and simulation of vehicle dynamic behavior for the development of active vehicle (safety) systems. Preferably experienced with testing and/or evaluation of dynamic behavior of road vehicles and knowledge of relevant (surrounding) sensors. An academic track record of significant number of publications in international journals and/or presentations on scientific conferences is desirable. Experienced with Matlab/Simulink, dSpace and MBS tools (SimMechanics, ADAMS).
