We challenge you to Supply process technology knowledge and execution of the development and design of new, more sustainable processes and / or products. This will apply to structural improvement projects, process design and engineering, technology innovation and scale up of new products.
Job Summery
We are looking for a driven candidate who is (or aspires to develop into) a specialist in the area of spray and / or roller drying and powder handling. In addition you are the back-up for powder-packaging specialist. You will act as a specialist towards investment and improvement projects on both an OpCo and FrieslandCampina level.
You are part of professional team which consists of 20 Process Technologists. Aside from your direct colleagues you will work together with various co-workers across FrieslandCampina. As a Process Specialist your duties and responsibilities amongst others will be:
- Developing new, safe and sustainable processes by implementing technological development and gathering information through literature and technology reviews.
- Delivering a systematic design, development and realization of process installations. Formulates assumptions and conditions, and defines the process conditions under which the process must take place. Is linking pin towards the product development and longer term process research and the receiving party (production and/or market).
- Designing and building the needed test facilities and / or production trials.
- Taking part as a team member (process licensor) in multidisciplinary project groups that lead to the realization of investment projects and the construction of new or adapted processes.
- Analyzing and interpreting results that have been obtained from existing or newly built processes and provides well-researched and specified conclusions, recommendations through reports.
- Presenting and substantiating the findings to the relevant stake holders such as the sr. process technologist, the head of the department, the project manager and the receiving party in the factory or the principal.
- Developing and maintaining the process technology know-how in his / her field of technology, in such a way that existing processes will be maintained and (for specified technologies) continuous improvement and/or technology innovations can be developed
- Responsible for personal safety and the safety of colleagues.

Job Requirments
- Master in chemical engineering or food/process technology .
- +2 years experience in similar position.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- An accurate and professional way of working.
- Aspiration to take/have ownership.
