Product Line Manager (PLM), Fishing

Job Description
The Product Line Manager (PLM) is the focal point of contact for fishing tools product line, support operations and explore new areas/business opportunities that may lead to either diversifying or expand our existing business. You will report to the Eastern Hemisphere Director, fishing.
Responsabilities
• You are responsible for defining a clear strategy for the development of the Fishing PL growth in the relevant area.
• You provide leadership by influence and to work with Area and Sales Managers to profitably grow revenue and market share.
• You will continuous PL technology exposure and product orientation for the customer/sales operations to expand knowledge and experience of fishing tool and remedial.
• You will support technically both customers and NOV Operations.
• You will forecast and seek business opportunities for the fishing tools sales and rentals.
• You will monitor and report the competition performance, failures, deliveries, pricing, acquisitions and new technologies.
• You must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of NOV.
• You will reduce surplus and excess inventories to the target levels set by the management and control inventory safety stock levels in line of best appropriate selection of most used inventory.
• You will meet the company set margins and budget targets.
• You must foresee the future opportunities and recommend accordingly, the type of expansion, capital expenses, people training, IT setup etc., related to FT PL.
• Maintain continuous contact with current clients to identify their needs and spot any new opportunities.
• Monitor customer’s satisfaction and recommend quality program accordingly.
• Set up the yearly budget of the fishing product line together with operations.
• You submit on monthly basis paper work related to the duties (monthly report, opportunity landscape updates, success story, list of total inquiries and opportunities, etc.).
Requirements
• University Degree or equivalent experience
• 5 years Fishing/Thru Tubing experience
• Several years of field experience
• Excellent communication skills in English and optional in Dutch and German
• You are in the possession of a driving license
