Senior Civil & Structural Engineer (m/f) Job Description
Our customer, located in Germany (Bonn Area), is a world’s leading engineering contractor for
the design, procurement and construction of gas handling and processing plants throughout the gas chain – from well head to customer supply. As part of a group, having over 100 subsidiaries and nearly 58,000 staff globally, the company provides the best solutions for its customers worldwide.
For the further expansion of the international team in their office in Bonn we are
seeking with immediate effect.
Senior Civil & Structural Engineer (m/f)
- Analysis and interpretation of soil reports and seismic reports;
- Basic and detail engineering for all civil activities as required by project;
- Planning of structures, buildings, roads, drainage and marine systems as
- required by project;
- Cost estimates for materials and engineering;
- Technical handling of inquiries and purchase orders;
- Dimensioning of foundations and concrete structures;
- Subcontracting of engineering works and coordination/supervision of these
- Works;
- Checking of engineering documents prepared by subcontractors;
- International development of civil and structural design and management capabilities;
- Man hour and cost estimations for projects;
- Development of civil and structural standards (technical as well as
- organizational);
- Continous improvement of design and work processes, interfaces and design standards;
- Alignment with project managers;
- Supports project management in ensuring that technical standards are respected;
Senior Civil & Structural Engineer (m/f) Job Requirements
- Degree of Civil/Structural engineering;
- Preferably 10 years experience in Civil and Structural design;
- Leadership capabilities;
- Strategic mindset and thinking.
Further, you have good command of written and spoken English and are always acting in a convincing manner with a high degree of commitment. You are team-minded, communicative and ready for worldwide business trips and assignments abroad.
