Senior Statistician

€70k - €90k per annum

My client is an international CRO with an office in Western Germany. After a period of significant growth and development they now require a new Senior Statistician with line management experience, to join their Biometrics team. This is a fantastic role which will give the successful cadidate the opportunity to develop their career towards a managerial oversight perspective, whilst still being able to add value to the employer and lead by example to their team

This role requires the succesful candidate to carry out the following duties as the main part of their role:

• Lead a Biometrics Group of 4 or 5 statisticians & SAS programmers.
• Manage and control budgets, manage projects, draft cost proposals and carry out bid defenses
• Responsible for the statistical analysis of clinical trial data as well as the design, monitoring and analysis of specific projects spanning current clinical trials
• Trial design, generation of randomisation schemes, development of statistics analysis plans and overseeing the programming and validation of analysis databases and statistical tables

Senior Biostatistician Job Requirements

Key Experience required:

• Master or PhD degree 
• The ideal candidate will have between 6 - 8 years statistical experience preferably within a CRO
• Line management experience is necessary
