Business Technology Manager - 002312 Job Description
This new role brings responsibility for the management of the business requirements for technology implementations for ICON’s strategic clients. Working across multiple departments and divisions, the Business Technology Manager will enable repeatable and scalable solutions within a structured change controlled environment.
Overview of the role
- Assess, define and support the delivery of new technology solutions for working consistently across strategic alliances
- Establish, maintain and manage a structured change control process
- Line management and oversight
- Develop effective working relationships with stakeholders internally and externally to benefit the broader partnership with the client
- Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON’s values which centre on our commitment to People, Clients and Performance
- Travel (approximately 30%) domestic and/or international

Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or local equivalent, in health sciences or related discipline
- In-depth, proven experience in Project Management, clinical research and drug development
- Prior experience in either a CRO, Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical company
- Proven experience in Clinical System Implementation and Change Management
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to appropriately interface with all levels of management, including executive management
- Possess and demonstrate key competencies such as:

- Decision-making
- Communication skills
- Influencing and leading

Due to the nature of this position it may be required for the employee to travel. Therefore, dependent on the employee’s location, the employee may be required to possess a valid Driver’s licence.
