Masterplan Project Manager Job Description

 Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage, coordinate and develop energy and infrastructure masterplans :
  • Incorporate the changes, in coordination with the masterplan owners
  • Follow budget, planning, quality and resources
  • Analyze risks and issues, and act where needed
  • Make a regular reporting on the program’s health
  • Manage dedicated resources if needed
• Carry on project management tasks throughout the various projects within the programs, from initiation until completion stage.
• Coordinate project evaluation, prioritization and execution through the different departments (Manufacturing, New Medicines and Site Infrastructure).
• Define technical solutions and/or validate the proposed ones from external engineering offices.
• Integrate internal clients’ needs to deliver the projects of masterplans, aligned with the site strategy.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders such as sponsors, internal clients and employees, as well as with external ones such as sub-contractors, engineering offices and auditors.

Masterplan Project Manager Job Requirements

Education
 
Master degree in technical area (ideally industrial engineer)
 
Experience & skills
 

• The Masterplan Project Manager must demonstrate clear project management and goal-oriented skills to deliver efficiently on company targets. Track record in project management (at least 8 years)  including process, organization, cost, change control, planning, procurement, outsourcing, contracting, commissioning
• Solid experience in utilities is a prerequisite : design and operation of utilities (heating, cooling, hvac, compressed air,…), as well as a basic knowledge in their regulation.
• Expertise in following functional areas is an asset: laboratories infrastructure, civil engineering, pharma qualification, cGMP.
• Self-motivated, with a clear goal-oriented spirit and a high level of accountability.
• Agility to be a project leader, a client partner, an expert or a conceptual as appropriate.
