Project Manager Job Description

AKKA Benelux is a consultancy company specialised in high technologies. We are the Belgian subsidiary of the AKKA Technologies group and employ more than 400 people and more than 10,000 worldwide.

We work with our clients on the whole product life cycle of their industrial projects: from R&D, design, industrialisation to production. AKKA Benelux operates on complementary occupations and engineering: mechanical, electrical, processes, documentation & IT engineering.

We offer our clients from all the industrial sectors (car industry, aeronautics, spatial/defence, telecommunication, chemistry, pharmaceutical, energy, iron & steel metallurgy, railway, services ...) the possibility to acquire or maintain their technical lead and to increase their productivity.

Your Function:

• You direct the design and/or implementation of projects in the energy sector.
• You organize regular meetings and/or contacts with the client and experts and develop the relevant administrative procedures.
• You prepare detailed reportings to the client.
• You have the budgets established and you consolidate them for the project as a whole. You determine the overall time schedule.
• You coordinate the actions at the interfaces between disciplines and you verify the adequate integration of the various specialities in the project.
• You implement the project management documentation in accordance with the applicable procedures.
• You take part in the tenders preparation in close interaction with the experts.

Project Manager Job Requirements

Your profile:

• You have a master in engineering.
• You are a flexible and dynamic team manager, focusing on constructive collaboration within the team.
• You have good communication skills and you are willing to invest time on the technical aspects of your projects.
• You are bilingual Dutch/French or English.
