Project manager Job Description

The main responsibilities of a Project Manager are:

Analyze the needs of the clients and users and translate these to functional specifications and user stories which can be implemented  later on with the tools of my client, or which require additional custom development. You will supervise the implementation and deliver a qualitative and project-driven follow-up. Your eye-for-detail assures high quality delivery through thorough testing. You will do the communication and coordination of the project progress both externally and internally.

What does Gentis require from a Project Manager:

• A Masters degree in Economics or Engineering
• You have a min of 3 years of project management experience in software projects, using an agile methodology like scrum
• Your French is excellent and you are proficient in English (knowledge of Dutch is a plus)
• You have a sharp analytical mind and strong problem solving skills
• You have shown strong leadership
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong people management skills
• Experience in product management is a plus
• You are a strong negotiator
• You are highly organized and a good multi-tasker
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You are very detail-oriented
• You have a very good technical understanding
