Internship: Setup Cost of Goods reporting for the ASML DUV Electronics department Job Description

Introduction

This is an apprentice or graduation internship for a bachelor or master student who would like to make an overview of the Cost Of Goods of all the electronic parts in the DUV machines. The assignment can be performed by two students together. 

Job Mission

The DUV Electronics department is responsible for the development, production at an external supplier and sustaining of all electronics in our DUV machines. We have a very large installed base of machines and continue developing new machines. Building on the skills of our people and our partners, we specify, design and outsource technical solutions which we predictably integrate and industrialize such that the ASML business requirements are met.

Job Description

Make an overview of the Cost Of Goods of all the electronic parts in the DUV machines. Setup standard reporting overviews based on the information in our systems. Required deliverables are:
• Overview of the Costs as paid by ASML to the supplier per machine type
• Overview of the Calculated Cost Price by ASML  per machine type 
• Generate all kind of different views on the data such as e.g. cost drivers, most expensive parts, supplier view etc.
• Generate ideas to decrease the cost of electronic parts in out machines

Education

Bachelor/Master Business, Economics or Electronics

Affinity with Technology, especially Electronics, is needed, including well communication skills and entrepreneurship to get all the information available and presented over the different ASML sectors.

Duration of internship: 6 months

The assignment can be performed by two students together.

Please keep in mind that we can only consider students (who are enrolled at a school during the whole internship period) for our internships and graduation assignments.
