Applications Business Manager Job Description

IntroductionASML brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our main headquarters are located in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we also have 18 office locations around the United States- including main offices in Wilton, CT, Chandler, AZ, San Jose, CA and San Diego, CA. Job Description-Has a strong supporting role in all BL Apps product sales of through competitively positioning products towards customer applications, leveraging technical background, product and customer application knowledge.
-Determines critical customer requirements and co-ordinates additional information or changes through standard structures and processes.
-Understands customer requirements and translates them into product or business consequences.
-Manage team of Business Development Managers and coordinate technical and business activities across various products.
-Align commercial proposal with sales business operations and business line management.
-Is able to analyze the interactive technical, product, market and business issues.
-Remains persistent until delivering results in time within own area of responsibility.
-Gives advice to both colleagues and customers; supports others and openly shares knowledge.
-Develops customer specific product sales / marketing strategies, leveraging technical background, product and customer application knowledge in a dynamic commercial environment.
-Determines critical product developments and information requirements to address key customer applications/technology developments.
-Identifies consequences for future products, product roadmap and regional businesses. EducationBachelor/ MS engineering or physical science education., or equivalent experience. Experience-10 years of experience in Semiconductor industry.
-Specialized professional with technical experience.
-Experienced professional with broad technical understanding and engineering or physical science background.
-Broad industry experience including management background and professional technical knowledge.
-Strong knowledge and experience of application product line and its application at the customer.
