Job Mission
The Customer Logistics Planner (CLP) is a key contributor to the Customer Supply Chain Management team. In this role the Customer Logistics Planner drives spares planning and replenishment to support stocking requirements in our Global Distribution Center and local support warehouses. The CLP also coordinates with various functions within the ASML to ensure customer service requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. Within ASML, CLP’s form collaborative partnerships with the global field support teams to ensure customer service level performance standards are met. The CLP role is an integral part of logistics and maintains safety stock levels and resolves logistical support issues.
Job Description
Monitors customer Field Service Defect returns in SAP. Manages Safety stock levels and Re-order points at global distribution centers. Places Intercompany Purchase Orders and executes transactions in SAP that support GDC stocking replenishment. Analyzes and report material shortages. Monitors specific performance KPI’s, reporting on inventory stocking fill levels, on time delivery, past due orders. Supports Field Service equipment line downs, including material expedites and resolution to problems. Resolves transactional issues in SAP and reconciles with Finance. Responsible for creating policy/process improvements and updates. Works cross-functionally with regional Customer Logistics, IT Support, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Shipping to resolve logistics issues associated with demand, quality or delivery. Coordinates activities to resolve material availability escalations Supports service planning of New Product introduction (NPI) parts. Develops appropriate controls and performance reporting to assist in the accomplishment of the Customer Logistics team’s overall objectives. Executes allocation decisions regarding critical service parts and upgrade deliveries to best meet service requirements and regional stocking needs.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Production Management or related business or technical degree, followed by a minimum of (3 - 5) years of professional experience, in the position offered or related capacities.Experience Expert knowledge and understanding of MRP, manufacturing and APICS theories. Understanding of the concepts and functionality of integrated manufacturing systems (SAP preferred) Ability to translate and statistically analyze data, and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical formats Advanced knowledge of MS suite of products MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic e-mail systems

Expert knowledge and understanding of theories of ASCP/MRP, JIT, Kanban and Lean Manufacturing preferred. Experience in Manufacturing and Planning modules in SAP environment or similar ERP System (Oracle, BAAN, etc) preferred. Experience in executing planning and logistics responsibilities in a high tech or High Mix/Low Volume environment Experience in the areas of cycle time reduction, process flow and cost optimization.
